Promap Civil Engineering Surveys, a subsidiary of Getmapping plc, is pleased to announce that it has recently entered into a service level agreement with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality in the Eastern Cape after securing a three year contract for the provision of both high resolution orthophotography and oblique imagery.
Promap Managing Director Matt Murphy comments, “We are very pleased to be once again providing our high quality imaging service to the Metropolitan Municipality providing accurate high resolution imagery which will assist the local governnment in its future planning and development as well as property valuations. We are looking forward to a successful execution this year.”
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is one of two metropolitan municipalities in the Eastern Cape Province. It incorporates Gqeberha (previously known as Port Elizabeth) and Kariega (previsouly known as Uitenhage) and occupies an area of 1959 km².
