Book Keeper/Accounts Clerk

Due to continued business growth across southern Africa, Geosense is now searching for book-keeper/accounts clerk to join our Finance Team.

Job Summary

This is a busy and varied role that will provide financial support across the Geosense business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing:

  1. Customer and supplier invoicing processing and management - processing invoices, assisting with queries, collection of payments and matching invoices to payments
  2. Management of staff expanese claims - petty cash and credit card processing, checking claims and receipts against supporting documents and processing expenses in pastel

Key Requirements

To be considered for this exciting position you must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines:

  • 3 to 5 years work experience in all areas required
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in your work
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with other team members
  • Reconciliation ability
  • Proficient in excel  and pastel
